Fernando Montenegro Sá, M. D. is the current head of the Arrythmia unit for the ULSM - Hospital Pedro Hispano, Portugal, and is an EHRA certified Cardiac Devices Specialist. From 2021 to 2023 he was also the Portuguese young cardiology council coordinator, and has since then been involved regularly in their activities. As an active Portuguese Cardiology Society member he is part of the coordination of its working group of thrombosis. Since 2020 he joined the editorial board of the Portuguese Cardiology Journal. After graduating from a sub-specialization in medical informatics, he is recently focusing on arrythmia diagnosis with wearable devices.
