Davide Cao is an interventional cardiologist at Humanitas Gavazzeni in Bergamo and research associate at Humanitas University in Milan. He graduated in Rome from Campus Bio-Medico University in 2013, he completed his general cardiology training at Humanitas Research Hospital in 2019 and interventional cardiology fellowship at Institute Mutualiste Montsouris in Paris in 2021. Since 2019, Davide Cao has been working as research fellow at the Center for Interventional Cardiovascular Research and Clinical Trials at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York, where he leads and coordinates all research activities including the design and management of randomized clinical trials and prospective registries. His research focuses on coronary stents and management of antithrombotic therapy, particularly in high-risk subsets of patients.
