Biography
Antonio Curcio is the Chief of the Division of Cardiology at Annunziata Hospital in Cosenza. He is an Associate Professor of Cardiology at the Department of Pharmacy, Health and Nutritional Sciences, University of Calabria, Rende, Cosenza. He graduated with honors from Federico II University of Naples in 2000 and obtained the board in Cardiology at Magna Graecia University of Catanzaro. Before entering academic ranking in 2008, he was a Research Associate at Duke University Medical College, NC, USA, then completed a Ph.D. degree in Medical Biotechnologies together with a series of post-doc research studies in basic science as well as in hemodynamics and interventional Cardiology under the guide of Professor Ciro Indolfi at his Division of Cardiology in Magna Graecia University until 2023. He currently works for the Italian Society of Cardiology, SIC, in Rome, where he serves as the national coordinator of the Telemedicine, AI, and e-health working group. He is fellow of the EHRA.
