Anna (Ganna) Isayeva graduated from Medical Faculty of Kharkiv National University in 1998. She defended her PhD in Cardiology in 2004. In 2006 she began to work as a scientist and clinical cardiologist in L.T. Mala National Institute of Therapy, one of the leading research institute in Ukraine. Firstly, she focused her research on gender cardiology. With time she moved her interest on studies of lipids, physical exercise and cholesterol metabolism. Other important scientific field for her is studies of role of genetic factors in formation of dyslipidemia and family hypercholesterolemia. Currently, she manages the Department of Non-Infection Diseases Prevention. In her clinical practice she specialized in preventive cardiology: hypertension, dyslipidaemias, diabetes and coronary heart disease.
