Doctor Svetlana Liliana Mosteoru

Svetlana Mosteoru is a Clinical Cardiologist and Researcher at the Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases Timisoara, as well as an Assistant Professor at the "Victor Babes" University of Medicine and Pharmacy Timisoara. Her main research interest are Cardiovascular prevention strategies in Romania, for which she is currently engaged in a nation-wide cardiovascular screening project. She is also a member of the Congress Programme Committee of the European Association for Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation representing the Young Community since 2022.She has participated in many clinical trials as well as written numerous articles. She has undergone training in several advanced courses offered by the European Atherosclerosis Society (EAS) in the field of lipidology and cardiovascular prevention and starting with 2022 she was accepted in the EAS Young Fellows Program. She is also part of the 2022 cohort of the Emerging Leaders Programme of the World Heart Federation.
