Professor Gani Bajraktari

Prof. Bajraktari is currently Guest Professor at Department of Public Health and Clinical Medicine, Umea University, Sweden, Full Professor of Internal Medicine - Cardiology, Head of Internal Medicine Department at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Prishtina, President of Kosovo society of Cardiology and Head of the Working Group of Heart Failure (Kosovo Society of Cardiology). He was Dean of Medical Faculty, University of Prishtina, from 2009 to 2011. He was Director of Internal Medicine Clinic (in two mandates) and Director of the Clinic of Cardiology at the University Clinical Centre of Kosova. He was National Coordinator and Steering Committee Member of six registries at EURObservational Research Programme from the European Society of Cardiology. Professor Bajraktari has published over 130 indexed articles and was awarded with the Price “Scientist of the Year 2014” by the Ministry of Education, Republic of Kosovo.
