I´m currently conducting research on: 1. modeling the aerobic system through machine learning algorithms; 2. exploring wearable sensors to predict aerobic power and relevant clinical parameters; 3. exploring the relationship between aerobic fitness and diastolic function in diabetes patients. Experience in processing and analysis of physiological signals such as respiratory and metabolic (from cardiopulmonary exercise test), cardiovascular and autonomic (heart rate and arterial pressure variability and baroreflex sensitivity) in different populations (healthy, type 2 diabetes and coronary artery disease).
