Justas Simonavičius graduated from Lithuanian University of Health Sciences and was awarded a master’s degree in Medicine in 2014. He successfully completed postgraduate training at Vilnius University and was licensed as a cardiologist in 2018. During his residency training he completed a 6-month Internal Medicine training at Semmelweis University in 2016. In 2017-2018 he completed a part of his residency training at Maastricht University Medical Centre where he developed his competences in research and clinical practice in heart failure. Currently Justas Simonavičius is working at Vilnius University Hospital Santaros klinikos and Panevezys hospital where he provides outpatient heart failure services and cardiovascular intensive care.
