Astrid Lorena Rodriguez is an internal medicine resident pursuing a cardiologist career in Bogota, Colombia. She has had the opportunity to work as a general physician in a heart failure unit and a clinical center for acute myocardial infarction care. Utterly passionate about her job and academic excellence, Astrid has worked on different clinical and research experiences to create innovative clinical pathways to improve healthcare outcomes. In addition, to complete gaps in evidence in a Latin american scenario where the newest treatments and cutting-edge technology are not always available, and standard pathways are difficult to implement.
