Emma Cerracchio was born in Benevento on November 10, 1989. She graduated in Medicine and Surgery at Sapienza University in Rome in October 2014 and completed her specialty as cardiologist at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome in 2019. She holds a Master's Degree in Cardiology Intensive Care at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in 2021 and and a Master's Degree in Interventional Echocardiography at the University of Vita Salute San Raffaele in Milan in 2023. She currently works in the Cardiology Division at the Fatebenefratelli Hospital in Benevento. Her main fields of interest are cardiac intensive care and cardiovascular imaging with skills in the treatment of acute and chronic heart failure, cardiogenic shock and acute coronary syndromes. She developed good theoretical and practical preparation in the field of advanced echocardiography with ability to perform and interpret standard and three-dimensional echocardiographic examinations.
