Doctor Ahmed Adlan

Dr Adlan is currently undertaking advanced specialist training in electrophysiology and cardiac devices at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital. He graduated from Barts and the London Medical School with MBBS in 2006 and BMedSci in 2005. He completed his foundation and core medical training in London in 2011. He was awarded a PhD at the University of Birmingham in 2016, and completed his core cardiology training in West Midlands in 2017. He has several peer reviewed publications on a variety of topics including atrial fibrillation, ventricular arrhythmias, autonomic function, inflammation and exercise physiology. His current research interests include ventricular arrhythmias and catheter ablation, sudden cardiac death and syncope.
