Professor Oskars Kalejs

Dr. Kalejs is working as Chief of Arrhythmia Service, Latvian P.Stradins University Hospital and his main interest is invasive electrophysiology and such methods as ablation of cardiac arrhythmias. His interests also include non-invasive approaches to diagnosis cardiac arrhythmias and pharmacologic management of arrhythmias and Sports cardiology. Dr. Kalejs is very active in the field of clinical electrophysiology, and participates in all national and many international meetings in the field. Dr. Kalejs is a compassionate physician, wonderful lecturer, he is Head of educational programm in Cardiology, Riga Stradins University, Riga and, at the same time, a scientist who continuously strives to analyze clinical and research problems with close attention to detail. In addition to her MD and PhD, Dr. Kalejs has academic position as Professor of Cardiology in Stradins University, Riga. He is active member of ESC, FESC since 2005 and EHRA member since the founding of the Association.
