Dr. Fabio Guarracino MD is intensivist and cardiologist. He is Head of the Department of Anaesthesia and Critical care Medicine since 2011, and Director of Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia and Intensive Care since 2002 at Pisa University Hospital, Italy. His main area of interest is care of acute cardiac and respiratory decompensation in both medical and surgical patients. He is a leading expert in the field of "acute" echocardiography, both TTE and TOE.
