Doctor Maria F Paton

Dr Maria Paton is a NIHR Clinical Lecturer and Honorary Clinical Cardiac Scientist at the University of Leeds and Leeds Teaching Hospitals, UK. She has specialist interests in optimisation of device prescription and ongoing therapy using echocardiography. Dr Paton leads the multidisciplinary combined heart failure and device service at Leeds and has national profile as a non-medical clinical researcher, chairing the research and audit committee of the British Society of Echocardiography.
