Mehran M. Sadeghi, M.D. is currently a Professor of Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine and staff physician at VA Connecticut Healthcare System. He received his MD from Necker-Enfants Malades Faculty of Medicine in Paris, France, and trained in internal medicine, cardiology, nuclear cardiology and vascular biology at Yale-New Haven Hospital and Yale University, New Haven, CT. Dr. Sadeghi is a past president of the Cardiovascular Council of SNMMI and the recipient of the SNMMI CVC Hermann Blumgart Award. He is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Nuclear Cardiology and a member of the Journal of Nuclear Medicine editorial board. His federally-funded research is focused on molecular imaging and biology of cardiovascular diseases with primary emphasis on vascular remodeling and inflammation.
