Ahmed Shawky Elserafy graduated top of the class from the faculty of medicine, Ain Shams University in 1998. He is now a working professor of cardiology at the same university. He is an interventional cardiologist, with special interest in acute coronary syndromes, cardiovascular risks, as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and heart failure. He has over 23 national and international publications, participation in four worldwide RCTs, and several local studies. He is an active participant, and speaker in several local and international conferences.
