Member of:

European Society of Cardiology

Pascal B. Meyre, MD, PhD, is a Swiss cardiologist and clinical researcher specialising in atrial fibrillation, cardiovascular epidemiology and biomarker discovery. He is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Population Health Research Institute and the David Braley Research Institute in Hamilton, Canada, and is affiliated with the University Hospital Basel, where he completed his cardiology training. He obtained his MD and PhD from the University of Basel, focusing on outcomes in atrial fibrillation. His research integrates clinical cardiology, large-scale cohort studies, proteomics and cardiovascular genetics to improve risk stratification and mechanistic understanding of arrhythmias. He has co-authored publications in leading cardiovascular and medical journals and is actively involved in international research collaborations.
