Professor Marvin Konstam

Dr. Konstam is Chief Physician Executive of the CardioVascular Center at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, and Professor of Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine. His long-time clinical research interests have been pathophysiology and management of Heart failure. At his institution, he launched the program in Advanced Heart Failure, which has become one of the largest such programs in the United States. He has previously served as President of the Heart Failure Society of America (HFSA), for which he presently serves as Chair of the Publications and Scientific Statements Committee. In 2018, Dr. Konstam received the HFSA Lifetime Achievement Award.
