Professor Marvin Konstam

Dr. Konstam is Chief Physician Executive of the CardioVascular Center Emeritus at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, and Professor of Medicine and Radiology at Tufts University School of Medicine. His long-time clinical research interests have been cardiac function and remodeling; pathophysiology and management of Heart failure. At his institution, he launched the program in Advanced Heart Failure, which has become one of the largest such programs in the United States. He has previously served as President of the Heart Failure Society of America (HFSA). In 2018, Dr. Konstam received the HFSA Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2019, Dr. Konstam received the Paul Dudley White Award from the American Heart Association.
