Biography
Hoda Shehata Abdelgawad, PhD. Dr. Hoda is a consultant cardiologist and lecturer of cardiology at Alexandria University, Egypt. She is currently working as a senior clinical fellow in echocardiography at King's College Hospital , London, UK. She is a graduate from the faculty of medicine, Alexandria University, Egypt, 2008. She had successfully completed her 5-years cardiology fellowship at Alexandria University Hospitals and she got her master and PhD degrees with grade “excellent”in 2014&2019. She is interested in the field of cardiovascular imaging specially advanced and interventional echocardiography. She was a research fellow of echocardiography at the Deptartment of Cardiac,Thoracic and Vascular Sciences of the University of Padua, Italy .She is also part of the working group on hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and other inherited cardiomyopathies in Collaboration with Magdi Yacoub Insitute(Aswan heart center) starting January 2012 till now.
