Dr Rajeev Gupta is currently Chairman, Preventive Cardiology and Internal Medicine at Eternal Heart Care Centre and Research Institute, Mount Sinai New York Affiliate, Jaipur; and Chair, Academic Research Development Unit, Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur. He also Co-Chairs the Hypertension Research Group at Indian Council of Medical Research, New Delhi and is Board Member, World Heart Federation, Geneva. He has pioneered research in cardiovascular epidemiology in India and is a member of steering committee of landmark studies such as PURE, CREATE, JHW, etc. He has participated in numerous international clinical trials. He has more than 650 publications in peer-reviewed journals including Lancet, NEJM, Nature, JAMA, EHJ and BMJ. His research is supported by leading research institutions- NIH, NHLBI, NIDDK (USA) and ICMR, DST and DHR (India). He has mentored dozens of PhD, DNB, MD, MPhil and MSc fellows.
