The research activity of Dr. Calvieri focused on the role of Cardiac Magnetic Resonance in the mechanisms of acute infarction, in particular microvascular obstruction, and on new technological applications, such as T1 mapping, in dilated and hypertrophic cardiomyopathies during the period of training and research at the IRCCS Policlinico San Donato, under the supervision of Prof Lombardi.
