Satish R Raj MD MSCI is a Professor of Cardiac Sciences and the Section Chief of the Cardiac Arrhythmia Group at the University of Calgary in Canada. He also serves as the Director of Education at the Libin Cardiovascular Institute in the University of Calgary’s Cumming School of Medicine.
After completing his clinical training in Canada, he spent 12 years working at the Vanderbilt Autonomic Dysfunction Center in Nashville, TN. After moving to the University of Calgary in 2014 and founded the Calgary Autonomic Investigation & Management Clinic.
He runs an active research program in Human Autonomic Physiology. His primary research interests relate to understanding and better treating vasovagal syncope, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), orthostatic hypotension, and Initial Orthostatic Hypotension.
