Doctor Maria Simonenko

Nine years ago Dr. Maria Simonenko joined Heart Transplantation Team in Almazov National Medical Research Centre. She is certified as a physician, cardiologist and transplantologist. Now she is working as a clinical research fellow and cardiologist in outpatient department, Heart Failure and Heart Transplantation Division. In 2019 she plan to have her PhD defence. In addition, she developed the protocol of 10 years follow-up in recipients after heart transplantation which was approved. Dr. Simonenko is responsible after the follow-up of heart-transplanted recipients, collaborates with different specialists and completes the whole research data. She lectures on following post-graduate courses: heart transplantation, cardiopulmonary exercise test.She authored and co-authored more than 50 publications.
