Biography
Associate Professor of Comparative Effectiveness and Outcomes Research, Health Outcomes, Policy and Evidence Synthesis (HOPES) Group, University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy, Storrs, USA; and Researcher, Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses Unit (URSIGET), Vicerrectorado de Investigacion, Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola (USIL), Lima, Peru.
Adrian is trained in internal medicine, clinical epidemiology and cardiovascular research, with extensive experience (18+ years) in design, analysis, and publication of observational studies, randomized clinical trials, and meta-analyses. Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and of the European Society of Cardiology. As of May 2025, Dr. Hernandez has 323 peer-reviewed publications in Pubmed and an H-index of 64.
Focused on clinical outcomes research, systematic reviews and meta-analyses of cohort studies and randomized controlled trials, clinical practice guidelines using GRADE methodology, and administrative database analyses.
