Dr. Laimoud is an associate professor in the College of Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt. He finished his master's and PhD degrees in cardiac critical fields. His primary interests are cardiac critical care including mechanically assisted devices, percutaneous coronary interventions, and heart transplantation. He worked in clinical and research fields at King Faisal Heart Center, King Faisal Specialist Hospital, and Research Center (KFSHRC-Riyadh) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) for 5 years. He was a member of the educational committee of KFSHRC. In 2022, he became a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), the European Society of Cardiology (FESC), and the Acute Cardiovascular Care Association (FACVC). He was nominated as a member of the Cardiovascular Leadership Council of the American College of Cardiology in 2023. Currently, he is working Consultant in Cardiovascular Critical Care at Prince Sultan Cardiac Center (PSCC) in Riyadh, KSA.
