Associate Professor Mohamed Laimoud

Dr. Laimoud is an associate professor at the College of Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt. He finished his master's and PhD degrees in Cardiovascular Critical Care. His primary clinical and research interests involve acute cardiovascular care, including mechanical circulatory support and heart transplantation. In 2022, he became a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), the European Society of Cardiology (FESC), and the Acute Cardiovascular Care Association (FACVC). He was nominated as a member of the Cardiovascular Leadership Council of the ACC (2023-2024). He completed the Harvard Medical School Postgraduate Medical Education, GCSRT Program (2023-2024), and the SQIL program (2025-2026). He is an academic editor for cardiovascular journals for Springer Nature and Wiley. Currently, he works as a consultant in cardiovascular critical care at Prince Sultan Cardiac Center (PSCC) in Riyadh, KSA, a tertiary, high-volume cardiac transplantation center.
