Dr. Ruperti is a medical specialist in internal medicine and currently working as a fellow at the Center for Congenital Heart Disease of the University Hospital Inselspital in Bern, Switzerland. He is also a cardiology trainee at the University Hospital of Basel, Switzerland. His current research interests focus on the field of Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) (especially related to COVID-19 and ACHD, pulmonary valve regurgitation and replacement among patients with a repaired tetralogy of Fallot, systemic right ventricular physiology and dysfunction, and long-term outcomes among patients with an arterial switch operation for the correction of their transposition of the great arteries). Past research was focused on atrial fibrillation and biomarkers.
