Associate Professor Sandeep Prabhu (Sunny) is a cardiologist, electrophysiolgist and senior research fellow at the Alfred Hospital and Baker Heart and Diabetes Research Institute based in Melbourne, Australia. He has been nationally and internationally recognised for his research in the field of atrial fibrillation and heart failure with over 90 peer reviewed publications, including leading the CAMERA-MRI, CAMERA MRI II and WITHDRAW-AF clinical trials. He has over 90 co-authored publications and performs over 300 complex ablations and cardiac device implantations each year. His research has been recognised with numerous national and international awards and he is currently an NHMRC and National Heart Foundation supported researcher.
