Biography
Tatsuhiro Shibata is a cardiologist in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Kurume University Hospital, and an assistant professor in the Cardiac Care Unit of the Advanced Critical Care and Emergency Center, Kurume University Hospital. He is also a board-certified palliative medicine physician and a member of the Palliative Care Committee of the Japanese Heart Failure Society. His research activities are focused on advanced heart failure, cardiovascular intensive care, palliative care, and cardio-oncology.
