Dr Alessandro Lupi graduated in Medicine & Surgery with full honours in 1992 at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart (Rome). In the same year, he won the “Ludovico Necchi” prize as Best Medicine Fellow of the Catholic University of Rome for 1991-1992 Academic Course. In 1997 he specialized in Cardiology with full honours at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart (Rome). Clinical activity: from 1999 to 2007 he directed the Cath Lab of the “Umberto Parini” General Hospital of Aosta, from 2007 to 2016 he directed the Cath Lab of the “Maggiore della Carità” University Hospital of Novara, from 2016 he is the Director of the Cardiology Division of the Verbano-Cusio-Ossola General Hospital. Affiliations: From 2014 in a fellow of the SCAI. From 2017 is the National President of the CFC (Italian Council for Cardiology Practice). Academic career: in his academic career, Dr Lupi published over 100 peer-reviewed articles, as well as medical textbook chapters
