Mr Yuta Yamamoto

Yuta Yamamoto is a post-doctoral fellow at the Department of Bioscience and Genetics, National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center (Osaka, Japan). Born in Japan, he graduated and received DVM from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology. During his time at veterinary medicine, he investigated the valvular disease of dogs. After graduation, he focused on the inherited cardiac diseases, and conducted research on elucidation of the pathophysiological mechanism and development of novel treatment for CALM gene mutation-related arrhythmias (calmodulinopathy) using iPS cell model at Kyoto University. After he received PhD, he has continued to study about calmodulinopathy at Kyoto university and National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center.
