He graduated in Medicine and Surgery on 26th July 1985 at the University of Verona, Italy He specialized in Cardiology on 17th July 1989 at the University of Verona, Italy He devotes himself to acute cardiac care, echocardiography and hemodynamics. As interventional cardiologist he has developed the radial approach. On 8TH July 2003 he has been appointed Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC). He is member of the Working Group on Acute Cardiac Care of the European Society of Cardiology since 2005 He is member of the European Association of Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (EAPCI).
