Born in Calcutta, India in 1971, he completed his MBBS course at the prestigious Medical College Trivandrum, successfully completing it in 1995. He worked at the prestigious Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, Kerala as Lecturer in Medicine in 2002. Active in teaching undergraduate students, he also successfully enrolled and completed the Diplomate of National Board (DipNB) postgraduate course in General Medicine under the aegis of the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi in 2007. He continued thereafter as Assistant Professor in Medicine and proceeded to acquire the MPhil degree in Hospital & Health Management from BITS-Pilani, Rajasthan in 2010.Migrated to the UK in 2011 as Clinical Fellow in Cardiology at Frimley Park NHS Hospital, Surrey and continuing till date, he has completed Level 1 Cardiac CT course, has BSE accreditation at proficiency level in adult transthoracic echo. He also holds full certification in Heart Failure of the ESC Heart Failure Association.
