Galal Abushahba, MD, is a graduate of Garyounis University, Benghazi Libya, He was trained in internal medicine at Hamad General Hospital and cardiology at Heart Hospital, Doha, Qatar. Galal is practicing medicine since 16 years, he was graduated from Arab Board of Medical specialization of cardiology in 2016 in ACGME-I accredited training program, where he was the chief of fellow in 2015 and he was awarded the best fellow in the training program, after which he had advanced training in non-invasive cardiology in Heart Hospital for two years. He was leading the EACVI HIT in Doha, Qatar as Ambassador from 2017-2021, along with other duties as associate cardiology consultant managing cardiac patients in general ward and cardiac intensive care. Since 2020 to present time he is working as a consultant cardiologist at the University hospital of Morecambe Bay NHS trust. Galal is board certified in internal medicine, General cardiology and Non- invasive cardiology.
