Dr. Leslie Marisol Lugo Gavidia, MD, MSc. Graduate of Queretaro ́s Autonomous University; Mexico 2014 and certified as a medical doctor (M.D.) she continued her training on cardiovascular disease in the Queretaro´s Heart Institute (Mexico) and participated in national projects focusing on projects to improve coronary artery disease diagnosis, treatment and prognosis. She obtained her Master´s degree in biomedical sciences (2017) on which she focused platelet aggregation and CAD. Following this, she did a fellowship in Barcelona at the Bellvitge Biomedical Research Institute (IDIBELL) in the Bellvitge University Hospital focused on antithrombotic therapy and CAD and the impact to the long term outcome on this patients. Currently PhD student at The University of Western Australia in the Medical Research Foundation (MRF), Royal Perth Hospital (RPH) and Dobney Hypertension Centre (DHC).
