Biography
Dr Catharina Hamm is a German cardiologist with a clinical focus on preventive cardiology, women’s cardiovascular health and sports cardiology. She joined the Kerckhoff Heart Center in Bad Nauheim, Germany, in 2010 and subsequently served for many years as a senior consultant in cardiology.
In 2025, she founded her own cardiology practice, focusing on cardiovascular prevention, women’s heart health, sports cardiology and individualized cardiovascular risk assessment. She also completed a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) programme at the University of Zurich.
Her particular areas of expertise and interest include sex- and gender-specific cardiovascular medicine, cardiovascular prevention across the female lifespan, lipidology, and the impact of menopause and pregnancy-related risk factors on long-term cardiovascular health.
