Dr Louisa O’Neill obtained her medical degree from University College Dublin in 2008 and completed general cardiology training in Ireland. From 2016-2020 she undertook a British Heart Foundation fellowship at King’s College London and was awarded a PhD for work characterizing atrial arrhythmia substrate in congenital heart disease. During this time, she also undertook clinical training in electrophysiology and cardiac MRI and obtained level 3 certification from the Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance.
She subsequently completed a 2-year fellowship at Sint Jan Hospital, Bruges, Belgium. She currently works as an electrophysiologist at the Blackrock Clinic, Dublin Ireland.
