Francesca Pluchinotta completed her training in Pediatrics at the University of Padova. From 2010 to 2012 she was Research Fellow in Pediatric Cardiology at Boston Children’s Hospital. From 2012 to 2020 she was appointed as Pediatric Cardiology Staff and Research Associate at IRCCS Policlinico San Donato where she works primarily in the area of non-invasive cardiac imaging. Since November 2017, she is enrolled in the Executive PhD program of the Department of Bioengineering at the Politecnico di Milano. Her research focuses on finite element analysis and fluid dynamics studies of cardiovascular devices.  Francesca Pluchinotta is co-author of 70 publications in peer-reviewed journals, 5 chapters in books, and more than 40 proceedings and abstracts in national and international conferences.
