Professor Havard Dalen

Professor Dalen is affiliated the St. Olavs University hospital and Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim, Norway. Main research areas are within advanced echocardiography, cardiac imaging, novel echocardiographic methods, but also cardiac epidemiology, excercise as medicine in cardiac patients and hand-held ultrasound. He has published more than 120 peer-reviewed manuscripts. He has beeing chairing several large research projects, among others the echocardiographic initiatives in the large Trøndelag Health Study (HUNT).
