Doctor Anthony D Dimarco

After graduating from the University of Southampton medical school in 2007, with distinction and honours and three academic prizes, Anthony went on to complete junior doctor training in both the Wessex and Oxford area, including registrar positions at both University Hospitals Southampton and Oxford. He completed a period of research in West London focusing on biomarker discovery and was heavily involved in undergraduate teaching as well as developing an education programme for local primary care providers. He completed training in heart failure and complex devices in 2019. Following training he moved to the Barts Heart Centre in London undertaking a post CCT fellowship with the inherited cardiovascular diseases specialist group. Now he works as a Heart Failure and device consultant for Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. Anthony has produced a number of peer-reviewed publications, including in the BMJ and EHJ, and presented at ESC conferences on a number of occasions.
