Biography
Graduate of Kasr Alainy Medical school, Cairo, EGYPT, in class of 1980’s with Honour.
Specialized in Cardiovascular Medicine in 1984; and got my MD in 1991. Founder of the Egyptian Working Group on Echocardiography, branch of the Egyptian Society Cardiology in 1985, and was its president during the period 2012-2016.
President of the ultrasound diagnostic Centre, and the head of the non invasive cardiovascular imaging laboratory in the French Teaching Hospital, Cairo university hospitals for 8 years. Head of the Cardiovascular Medicine Department during the period 2012-2015, before becoming Emirate Prof in the Kasr Alainy University Hospital.
