Xavier Rosselló has coordinated the 2023 ESC Guidelines for the management of ACS, and the 2024 ESC Guidelines for the management of chronic coronary syndromes.
He is an academic clinical cardiologist & statistician based in Hospital Universitari Son Espases (Mallorca, Spain), a clinical scientist at the Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Cardiovasculares (CNIC, Madrid, Spain), as well as an Associate Professor at the University of the Balearic Islands (Mallorca, Spain) and an Honorary Associate Professor of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (UK).
He has published more than 160 papers: >50% as first, co-first or corresponding author, whilst 15% ot them on basic or translational research. He has published in NEJM (2), Lancet, Annals of Internal Medicine, JACC (12), EHJ (9), and Circulation (2).
He is a member of the ESC clinical practice guidelines, as well as a member of the Quality indicators Study Group, and the Acute Heart Failure Study Group of the ACVC.
