Xavier Rosselló is an academic clinical cardiologist based in Hospital Universitari Son Espases, Mallorca (Spain). He is also a clinical scientist at the Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Cardiovasculares (CNIC), Madrid (Spain), as well as an Associate Professor at the University of the Balearic Islands, Mallorca (Spain) and an Honorary Associate Professor at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (UK). He has published more than 160 papers (>50% as first, co-first or corresponding author): 85% are clinical research-related, and 15% basic or translational research-related. He has published in NEJM (2), Lancet, Annals of Internal Medicine, JACC (12), EHJ (8), and Circulation (2). He is a member of the ESC clinical practice guidelines and the ESC Registries Committee, and has been TF coordinator of the 2023 ESC Guidelines for the management of ACS. Moreover, he is a member of the Quality indicators Study Group, and the Acute Heart Failure Study Group of the ACVC.
