Xavier Rosselló is an academic clinical cardiologist based in Hospital Universitari Son Espases, Mallorca (Spain). He is also a clinical scientist at the Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Cardiovasculares (CNIC), Madrid (Spain), as well as an Associate Professor at the University of the Balearic Islands, Mallorca (Spain). He performed his clinical training at Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau (Barcelona), his PhD in experimental cardiovascular science at University College London (2017) and his MSc in Medical Statistics at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (2018), where he focused on risk scores, survival analyses and clinical trials. He has published more than 140 papers and his current research interests are mostly acute and chronic coronary syndrome, as well as subclinical atherosclerosis and heart failure.
