Doctor Stylianos Tzeis

Dr Stelios Tzeis is the Head of the Cardiac Dpt in Mitera Hospital, Athens, Greece. He has a clinical focus on catheter ablation and cardiac implantable electronic devices. In addition to his clinical work he has served in several ESC / EHRA committees, was the chairperson of the EHRA Certification Committee (2017-2021) and will serve as the chairperson of the EHRA Scientific Program Committee (2025-2026). He has published 148 papers in peer-reviewed journals (h-index: 39). He was the chair of the writing group of the “2024 EHRA/HRS/APHRS/LAHRS Expert Consensus Statement on Catheter and Surgical Ablation of Atrial Fibrillation”. He recently co-authored the “2024 ESC Guidelines for the management of atrial fibrillation” and the “2022 ESC Guidelines for the management of patients with ventricular arrhythmias and the prevention of sudden cardiac death”. He is Associate editor in Europace and Hellenic Journal of Cardiology.
