Dr Stelios Tzeis is the Head of the Cardiac Dpt in Mitera Hospital, Athens, Greece. He has a clinical focus on catheter ablation and cardiac implantable electronic devices. In addition to his clinical work he has served in several ESC / EHRA committees and was the chairperson of the EHRA Certification Committee (2017-2021) and will serve as the chairperson of the EHRA Scientific Program Committee (2025-2026). He has published 130 papers in peer-reviewed journals (h-index:35). He was the chair of the writing group of the “2024 EHRA/HRS/APHRS/LAHRS Expert Consensus Statement on Catheter and Surgical Ablation of Atrial Fibrillation”. He co-authored the “2022 ESC Guidelines for the management of patients with ventricular arrhythmias and the prevention of sudden cardiac death” and was a member of the review committee of the “2023 ACC/AHA/ACCP/HRS Guideline for the Diagnosis and Management of Atrial Fibrillation”. He is Associate editor in Europace and Hellenic Journal of Cardiology
