Dr. Turakhia is an internationally recognized cardiac electrophysiologist, researcher, executive, and leader in digital health and heart rhythm care. He is Professor of Medicine at the Stanford University School of Medicine and Chief Medical Officer and Chief Scientific Officer at iRhythm Technologies, Inc. Trained in computer science, medicine, biostatistics, and research, he brings over 20 years of experience in patient care, outcomes research and trials, data science and artificial intelligence, medical device regulation, and the creation and commercialization of digital health products. At Stanford, he is the Founding Director of the Stanford Center for Digital Health, where he led a large multidisciplinary research program in heart rhythm disorders, real-world evidence, clinical trials, and digital health. Dr. Turakhia has authored over 300 publications and has received over $50 million in research funding.
