Biography
Dr Siddiqui is a Consultant Cardiologist at South Warwickshire University Foundation Trust, UK, with a special interest in Heart Failure and Device Therapy. He graduated from The Guy's, King's and St Thomas' School of Medicine and trained in Internal Medicine in London, before commencing his Cardiology Specialist Training in the West Midlands region of the UK.
He was awarded National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) funded research fellowship for a higher Doctorate in Medicine at the University of Leicester, where his clinical research was in risk stratification for sudden cardiac death.
He is particularly interested in patient-centred needs-based palliative care pathways for patients with advanced heart failure and improving patient selection for cardiac device therapy.
He is a passionate about training the training, education and welfare of physicians at all stages of training. He is a keen distance runner and cyclist, is an avid reader and enjoys travelling.
