
Professor Majid Haghjoo

Biography
Majid Haghjoo received fellowship degree in field of cardiac electrophysiology from Iran University of Medical Sciences with two complementary training courses in Leipzig Heart Center (Germany) and Ospedale San Raffaele of Milan (Italy) and is currently teaching cardiac electrophysiology at Rajaie Cardiovascular Medical and Research Center.
His professional interests focus on atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and cardiac resynchronization therapy.
He wrote more than 130 papers (cited in PubMed and Scopus) and 8 books (Published by Elsevier, Springer, Blackwell, Cambridge Scholars, and Intech).
Now, he serves as director of Electrophysiology Department for Rajaie Cardiovascular Medical and Research Center, and is a member of American College of Cardiology, European Society of Cardiology, Heart Rhythm Society, and European Heart Rhythm Association.
