Atsushi Sugiura, MD, PhD, FESC is Director of the Structural Heart Program and Co-Director of the Department of Cardiology at Nagoya Heart Center, Japan, and former Oberarzt at the University Hospital Bonn, Germany. He specializes in transcatheter valve interventions, including TAVI, mitral and tricuspid TEER, and emerging valve replacement therapies. His research focuses on imaging-guided intervention, patient selection, and procedural outcomes.
