Dr Gargiulo is Assistant Professor of Cardiology at University Federico II of Naples, Italy, where he obtained his medical degree, his board certification in Cardiology and his PhD. He received a research grant from EAPCI in 2015, and worked as Researcher at Bern University Hospital (2015-2019). He has published >100 articles in most relevant international journals. His impact factor is >800, with a H-Index of 23 and >1600 citations. He has participated to several congresses in Cardiology, is member of several Scientific Societies (ESC, EAPCI, AHA, Italian Society of Cardiology SIC, Italian Society of Interventional Cardiology GISE), has fellow of the Italian Society of Cardiology (SIC), serves as Scientific Committee member of the National Congress of the Italian Society of Interventional Cardiology (GISE), and as reviewer for many international journals. He is Editorial Board member of Journal of Cardiovasc Transl Research and International Associate Editor of Eurointervention.
