Biography
Dr. Andrikopoulou is currently an Assistant Professor of Cardiovascular Disease at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Birmingham AL, USA. Passionate about digital innovation and its application to promoting value-based healthcare transformation particularly as it pertains to cardiovascular imaging. Her primary clinical and research interest is in implementation of the complementary attributes of echocardiography, cardiac computed tomography and magnetic resonance in patients with structural and ischemic heart disease. She has trained at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital (Philadelphia, PA USA), the University of Alabama at Birmingham (Birmingham, AL USA) and completed her advanced fellowship in multimodality cardiovascular imaging at the Brigham and Women's Hospital (Boston, MA USA).
