Cristina Pop graduated the Faculty of Pharmacy at "Iuliu Hatieganu" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, in 2009. Since then she has been teaching Pharmacology and Physiology at the Department of Pharmacology, Physiology and Pathophysiology, Faculty of Pharmacy at "Iuliu Hatieganu" University of Medicine and Pharmacy where she is currently Assistant Professor. She obtained her PhD in Pharmaceutical sciences in 2015, focusing on heart failure pathophysiology and pharmacology. Her scientific experience includes experimental models of heart failure in rats, proteomics analysis of human and animal plasma and heart tissue in different types of heart failure and evaluation of different pharmacologic approaches in heart failure. In 2016 she became a Specialist in Clinical pharmacy at the "Iuliu Hatieganu" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca, focusing on pharmacotherapy optimization in cardiovascular diseases.
