Dr. Chia-Ti Tsai is a hybrid electrophysiologist and interventional cardiologist specializing in catheter ablation, device implantation, coronary intervention and left atrial appendage occluder implantation. His research topics are molecular biology, genetics, statistics and bioinformatics, focusing on atrial fibrillation and sudden cardiac death. Now he is a Professor in Department of Internal Medicine, National Taiwan University Hospital. He used to be the Secretary General of Taiwan Society of Cardiology and Taiwan Heart Rhythm Society. He is a distinguished researcher and clinician and has many publications in major cardiovascular journals such as Circulation, Circulation Research, JACC, Cardiovascular research and Heart Rhythm.
